GENERAL INFORMATION

Where are your locations?

Camp Me! has two Bay Area locations. San Francisco and on the Peninsula, in Burlingame.

How old does my camper have to be to attend?

Campers must be 5 by September 1,  or entering Kindergarten in the fall.

Do you offer extended care?

We know you are busy and are here to help! Our extended care starts from  8 am – 9 am and 3 pm – 6 pm.

  • AM hours: 8-9 am, $30/week
  • PM hours: 3-6 pm, $60/week
  • Drop in rate: $8/hour

What is your camper to staff ratio?

We keep our ratio for K to 2nd grade at 8:1, 3rd to 5th grade at 8:1, and 6th to 8th grade at 10:1.

Can my camper be grouped with his/her friends or siblings?

We will absolutely try our best! Please let us know on your registration form. During the day, there are many small group activities and free play periods – opportunities to connect with friends, as well as make new ones during the week. Don’t worry, your child will have enough time to meet up with their friend or sibling, if for some reason we were not able to accommodate your request.

Are your activities age appropriate for my child?

Yes! Although our weekly themes apply for all age groups, we make certain that they are adapted for each age group. Our activities are designed to be flexible, so as to meet your child at his/her grade level and will vary in difficulty. We strive to provide academically rich, as well as insanely fun, activities!

What should I bring to camp? Do I need to pack a lunch for my camper?

We recommend packing a healthy, well balanced lunch for your camper. Campers should wear casual clothing that can get dirty and comfortable shoes for indoor and outdoor activities. Campers should arrive with sunscreen already applied and may want to bring a hat and additional sunscreen. Depending on location and weather, there may be Water Wednesdays. For these days, please ensure your camper will have an extra change of clothing as well as a towel.

How do you deal with serious allergies at camp?

During registration, you’ll complete a detailed health history form with any information we should know about your camper’s allergies. We send this information to the staff at your camp location. Additionally, we designate nut-free tables at all of our camps during snack times and lunch and enforce a strict hand-washing policy. All staff members are trained on how to administer an EpiPen in the event of an emergency.

Does Camp Me!  serve children with special needs?

At this time, our program is not designed for special needs/education. We do however welcome camper aides. For your camper to get the most out of the Camp Me! experience, we suggest that if your child has an aide during the regular school schedule, your camper should also have an aide during camp. We do require all aides who attend camp to complete a background check before camp begins.
